What is a LEAD School?

LEAD is a whole-school transformation process that teaches 21^st century leadership and life skills to K-12 students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader. The Leader in Me provides our school with the vision and language to lead the school in a way that addresses all areas of development. As each child discovers and develops his/her unique gifts and talents, they are given opportunities to lead. LEAD helps students learn how to become self-reliant, manage their emotions, set and track goals, do their homework, prioritize their time, increase interpersonal skills, and develop the skills and self-confidence to successfully lead their lives.
